A camouflaged Lamborghini Revuelto with a towering rear wing was filmed outside the factory gates in Sant’Agata Bolognese, and the internet immediately called it the Revuelto SVJ. That’s a fun theory. The evidence points somewhere less dramatic, though. Here’s what the footage shows and what Lamborghini has said, plus what any of it means for a car that already lists at more than $600,000 in the US.
Where it was spotted
Italian spotter Varryx filmed the car near Lamborghini’s headquarters and posted it on October 27 in a video titled “Is This the NEW Lamborghini Revuelto SVJ?” on his YouTube channel, with stills on Instagram (@varryx_). The clip runs more than 17 minutes and shows a parade of Temerarios, Urus SUVs and Revueltos leaving the factory area. The winged car is one of several prototypes in it.

The car wears black-and-white swirl camouflage over a body that looks a lot like the Revuelto SV revealed in August. The differences show up in the details. The Supercar Blog, which broke down Varryx’s photos the day they appeared, points to a taller fixed wing than the SV’s, an extra vent on top of each rear fender, and concave wheels that don’t match any current Revuelto. Autoevolution adds reworked side vents and skirts, a new diffuser, and bigger rear wheels than fronts. In Varryx’s stills you can also see yellow brake calipers and the high-mounted exhausts.
What’s confirmed
Lamborghini hasn’t commented on this prototype, and it hasn’t announced a Revuelto SVJ. Here’s what’s official. The Revuelto SV launched in August 2026 as the flagship’s more extreme version, rated at 1,065 CV (about 1,050 hp) from its V12 plug-in hybrid system. Lamborghini gave the SV its world debut at The Quail, during Monterey Car Week in California, which tells you how much the US market matters to this car.
The regular Revuelto lists at $608,358 in the US, per CarsDirect’s pricing data. Lamborghini hasn’t published an SV price for the US.
What’s rumored or reported
The “SVJ” label started with Varryx’s own video title, and he framed it as a question. The outlets that looked closest are skeptical. The Supercar Blog thinks it’s more likely the updated, second-phase Revuelto due around 2028, because the fender vent first appeared on an earlier facelift test car. Exotic Car Trends reports that Lamborghini sales and marketing chief Federico Foschini told CarExpert the Revuelto will follow the Aventador’s pattern, with an SV in the first half of its life and an SVJ in the second. If that holds, a full SVJ now would be early.

Others leave the door open. Motor Illustrated says the footage doesn’t settle the name, and ItalPassion notes Varryx himself wondered whether it might be a one-off. Autoevolution suggests a reveal in 2027 or 2028. One more clue: Exotic Car Trends says the same video shows a second camouflaged Revuelto without the big wing, which fits earlier reports of a facelift test car.
How credible is it? The video is real and recent, and the bodywork changes are plain to see. The name is the weak part. Nobody has sourcing for an SVJ, and Lamborghini’s own comments, as reported, argue against one this early. Our read is a facelifted Revuelto wearing parts from a harder-edged version, but that’s our interpretation.
What it means for US buyers
The Revuelto is sold in the US, and the SV made its debut here, so whatever this prototype turns into will very likely be offered in America too. That’s our expectation, not an announcement. If it’s the mid-life update, current Revuelto buyers can expect the usual refresh cycle. If it ever turns into a true SVJ, expect it to be limited and to cost well above the base car’s $608,358.
