About USonwheels

USonwheels.com is an independent news site covering new cars, trucks and electric vehicles for buyers in the United States. We focus on what US shoppers actually need to know: what’s coming, what it costs in US dollars, when it reaches American dealers, and which parts of the story are confirmed versus still rumored.

What we cover

  • New and upcoming models sold, or expected to be sold, in the US: release timing, trims, specs and pricing.
  • Electric vehicles: EPA range estimates, charging (including the switch to the NACS/Tesla-style port), and how new EVs compare on price.
  • Pickups and SUVs, from affordable crossovers to full-size trucks.
  • Industry news that affects US buyers: price changes, discontinued models, production updates and recalls.
  • Rumors and leaks, including regulatory filings and trademark applications, always labeled as unconfirmed until the automaker says otherwise.

Who it’s for

USonwheels is written for people in the US who are shopping for a car, thinking about their next one, or simply following what’s new. We cover the US market only, so prices, availability and specs reflect what you can buy here, not in Europe or China. When a model isn’t planned for the US, we say so.

How we work

  • Sources first. We start with primary sources such as automaker newsrooms and US government filings (EPA, NHTSA, FCC, USPTO), then credible automotive and business outlets. Claims are linked to their source so you can check them yourself.
  • Confirmed vs. rumored. We keep what an automaker has confirmed separate from what has been reported or rumored, and we label each clearly.
  • US MSRP pricing. Prices are US manufacturer’s suggested retail prices in US dollars, and we note whether the destination fee is included. If there’s no official price, we say “not announced” rather than guess.
  • Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction on the article.

Our full standards, including how we handle images, corrections, independence and the use of AI tools, are in our Editorial Policy & How We Report Rumors.
