Tesla News, Rumors & US Prices (2026-2027 Tracker)

Tesla’s US passenger lineup is down to three nameplates for 2027. The Model S and Model X are gone, and the six-seat Model Y L, at $61,990, is the one new choice (our 2027 lineup guide). The cheapest Tesla is still the Model 3 at $36,990 before fees, according to Tesla. Buying got a little more expensive this week. Tesla raised Model Y financing to 2.49% APR on orders placed from Oct. 22 (APR update), and Model 3 buyers are reporting higher lease quotes. Tesla says it’s trying to sell Cybercabs to customers by the end of 2026 (Cybercab explainer), and it lists Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Phoenix and San Antonio as Robotaxi cities coming soon (San Antonio report). The new Roadster was shown on Oct. 15 without a price (Roadster price).
