Genesis hasn’t announced a Genesis G90 facelift price for the US, or any US details at all. What we do have is a reported December launch in Korea, a clear look at the new design in our G90 facelift leaked-images story, and Genesis’s own pricing history for the last refresh. Here’s what the updated G90 is likely to cost, what it may bring and when it could reach US showrooms. Every forward-looking number below is a usonwheels estimate, labeled as such.
What’s confirmed
According to The Korean Car Blog, Hyundai said on its October 29 earnings call that the G90 facelift launches in South Korea in December. Nothing has been said about the US. Today’s 2026 G90 is sold here in three trims, listed by Genesis USA at $92,700 (3.5T AWD), $103,000 (3.5T E-SC AWD) and $105,750 (3.5T E-SC Prestige Black AWD). U.S. News lists the $1,495 destination fee and the output: 375 hp from the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, or 409 hp with the 48-volt electric supercharger.
What’s rumored or reported
Motor1 expects both V6 engines to carry over, mentions a possible plug-in hybrid, and expects US sales by the end of 2027. Korean outlet News-WA expects the 2.5-liter turbo hybrid from the Korean-market GV80, a three-dial cluster and possibly Level 3 highway driving. It also cautions that the Level 3 system hasn’t been confirmed. The Korean Car Blog thinks the US car will most likely be a 2028 model.

Expected Genesis G90 facelift price in the US
Genesis has a habit of modest refresh increases. When the 2020 G90 facelift arrived, Autoblog reported that the 3.3T went up $2,850 and the V8 $1,850 over the 2019 car. Genesis confirmed the new prices in a January 2020 release. The current generation started at $88,400 and $98,700 for 2023, which means it has risen roughly 4% to 5% over three model years to reach today’s prices.
| Trim | 2026 G90 (official) | Facelift (usonwheels estimate) |
|---|---|---|
| 3.5T AWD | $92,700 | $95,000 to $98,000 |
| 3.5T E-SC AWD | $103,000 | $105,000 to $109,000 |
| 3.5T E-SC Prestige Black AWD | $105,750 | $108,000 to $112,000 |
| Hybrid (if offered in the US) | Not sold | Too little data to estimate |
Prices exclude destination. Tariffs and trim changes could move them either way.
Expected specs
- The current 375-hp and 409-hp V6 setups are the official baseline (Genesis USA, U.S. News). Motor1 expects both to carry over.
- A hybrid is reported but not confirmed. News-WA points to the 2.5-liter turbo hybrid, and Motor1 raises a plug-in hybrid. We’d treat any US hybrid as a maybe.
- Long, thin two-line lights front and rear, a new bumper and new wheels are all visible in the spy photos.
- Three round gauges show up in earlier test-car photos (reported by Motor1 and News-WA).
- Level 3 driving is reported for Korea. Our estimate is that it won’t be part of the US launch, because Genesis has said nothing about US approval and the feature is unconfirmed even at home.
Expected US release date
The last G90 refresh is the best guide. Genesis unveiled it in Seoul on November 27, 2018. The US version debuted at the LA Auto Show on November 20, 2019 and went on sale nationwide in January 2020. That’s about 14 months from Korean reveal to US showrooms. When the current generation arrived, Genesis announced US pricing on August 2, 2022, with first deliveries on August 10.
Apply a similar gap to a December 2026 Korean launch, and the US reveal lands in the second half of 2027, with deliveries from late 2027 into early 2028. That’s most likely a 2028 model year. All of this is our estimate. Genesis hasn’t given a US date.
How we estimated this
We took today’s official US prices for each trim and applied the 2% to 5% increases Genesis made at its last refresh and over this generation. Timing comes from the 2018 to 2020 G90 refresh and the 2022 US launch. If Genesis adds a hybrid or more standard tech, prices could land above our range. Treat these figures as a guide until Genesis announces US details.
