Mopar Charger Special Edition Leak: Mopar ’27 Reportedly Gets Carbon Fiber, Bludicrous Paint and SIXPACK Power

Stellantis teased a 'Mopar '27' special edition for the Nov. 3–6 SEMA Show. Mopar Insiders' sources say it's a SIXPACK Charger with carbon-fiber parts, Bludicrous blue paint and at least 250 cars. Here's what's official and what's still a leak.

Mopar’s next limited-edition car looks like a Dodge Charger, and a new report claims to know what’s in it. On October 22, Mopar Insiders cited unnamed sources to describe a Mopar Charger special edition, called the Mopar ’27, due at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas in early November. The report describes carbon-fiber body parts, Bludicrous blue paint and SIXPACK power. Stellantis has confirmed only the name and the show, so the details below are unverified until the reveal.

What’s confirmed

On October 21, Stellantis announced that Mopar will be in a new spot at the 2026 SEMA Show: West Hall booth 59119 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 3–6. The release notes that Mopar, founded in 1937, turns 90 in 2027. The teaser photo with the announcement shows a dashboard badge that reads “Mopar ’27,” as Stellpower and Auto123 reported. Stellantis hasn’t said which vehicle wears it.

The Mopar-badged specials are a long-running series of limited editions loaded with Mopar parts. The last one was the Mopar ’25 Ram 1500 RHO, built in a run of 225 trucks for the US and 25 for Canada, according to Stellpower. There doesn’t appear to have been a Mopar ’26.

The car the report points to is the 2027 Charger. According to Dodge.com, the Charger Scat Pack’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo SIXPACK inline-six makes 550 hp and 531 lb-ft, and Dodge quotes 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The Charger R/T’s lower-output version makes 420 hp and 468 lb-ft. All-wheel drive is standard on both, and both come in two- and four-door body styles.

What’s rumored or reported about the Mopar Charger special edition

Everything in this section comes from Mopar Insiders’ unnamed sources. Mopar Insiders is an enthusiast site that covers Stellantis closely. No other outlet has independently confirmed these details.

  • The car is said to be a Charger with the high-output SIXPACK, the Scat Pack’s engine. The site says the package borrows heavily from the Moparized Charger SIXPACK concept Mopar showed at SEMA last year.
  • It gets a carbon-fiber front splitter, hood and rear spoiler, plus special hood and side graphics.
  • It comes in at least two colors, with Bludicrous blue as one of them. The other hasn’t leaked.
  • Hardware includes a Mopar cold-air intake, a performance cat-back exhaust and a strut-tower brace. The report calls a MagnaFlow SPEQ exhaust “a likely possibility” but not confirmed. It doesn’t say whether the parts raise the official horsepower rating.
  • Inside and under the hood, expect custom dash badging, a badge for the key fob, and an underhood plaque similar to the “Last Call” plaques on the 2023 Dodge muscle cars.
  • At least 250 cars will be built, with the final count and how they’re split between markets still to be announced. The report also mentions an owner’s kit but says it doesn’t know what’s in it.

There’s no pricing yet. The report gives no MSRP, and we won’t guess one.

Our credibility read: it’s very likely the Mopar ’27 exists and debuts at SEMA, because Stellantis teased it. That it’s a Charger rests on the dashboard in the teaser photo and Mopar Insiders’ sourcing. The parts list, colors and 250-car figure are single-source claims and could change before the reveal.

Why it matters for Charger fans

A serialized, Mopar-built Charger would give SIXPACK buyers something the new car hasn’t had yet: a factory-backed collector edition. It would join a growing list of Stellantis performance specials, including the 600-hp 2027 Charger Super Bee and the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee. We’ll update this story when Mopar shows the car at SEMA, which opens November 3.
